Last year, on August 4, I wrote a post [T.Boone Quixote.] on T. Boone Pickens' plan to help America in our "addiction to foreign oil" using natural gas and windmills.I guess T.Boone finally got around to reading my criticism of his idea......he just announced [T. Boone Pickens Drops Wind Farm] that even though his plan "made good progress", he's dropping the windmill idea.
It's reported that the ad campaign for T.Boone's plan cost $60 million. Looks like my calling him T.Boone Quixote was right on.
