French Terrorist Told Police, 'I'm delivering ice cream'.
According to mirror.co.uk, Nice terror attacker Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel told police 'I'm delivering ice cream' when questioned just hours before massacre.
Killer Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel was parked up on the Promenade des Anglais for almost nine hours before his horrific attack after telling police he was 'delivering ice cream', according to reports.
Judging by photos of the truck used in the terror attack, there does not appear to have been a refrigeration unit on the truck. Just how French police expected ice to remain frozen for nine hours in a unrefrigerated truck.....in July.....is beyond me.
Look for calls from POTUS Obama to call for a ban on ice cream in the United States.

POTUS Contradicts NY Times Poll on Race Relations.
In a recent interview with BBC, President Obama said race relations in the United States had improved during his presidency. His opinion flies in the face of a New York Times/CBS News poll conducted last week that reveals that nearly six in 10 Americans, including heavy majorities of both whites and blacks, think race relations are generally bad, and that nearly four in 10 think the situation is getting worse.
By comparison, two-thirds of Americans surveyed shortly after President Obama took office said they believed that race relations were generally good.

Obama: US Misjudged ISIL Threat
In what was obviously a slip of the tongue, Obama stated in a "60 Minutes" interview that "US misjudged ISIL threat".
Surely, he does not mean "US", but "I".

POTUSBO Speaks of 'Terrible Deeds in the Name of Christ'.
I realize that for many news websites, it's all about the lede. You have to grab the readers with a flashy headline. I'm not saying that Drudge is worse than any of the others, but I do sometimes want to check the fine print whenever the website features a headline about POTUSBO.
So, when I read the recent lede on Drudge, "Terrible Deeds in the Name of Christ", along with the photo of POTUSBO, I had to click the link.
Mission accomplished, Drudge.
The AP story began,
"President Barack Obama on Thursday condemned those who seek to use religion as a rationale for carrying out violence around the world, declaring that 'no god condones terror'."
One would think that His Majesty was referring to those who terrorize in the name of Islam. Not so.
" 'Unless we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,' Obama said. 'In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ'."
First of all, I won't even go into how, far too many people today, POTUSBO does not an accurate understanding of either the Crusades or the Spanish Inquisition. Most of what he believes happened comes from the anti-Catholic bias of English speaking historians.
Be that as it may, even if those two events happened as the President believes, the Spanish Inquisition was 500 years ago, while last major medieval Crusade to the Holy Land was in 1272.
I think it's a safe bet that Christianity has "evolved" since then.
Even his references to slavery and Jim Crow are more than a bit dated. ISIS is today. Let's not compare the present sins of ISIS with the past sins of some Christians. Is this the best the President can do?
Update:
From washingtontimes.com
Catholic League President Bill Donohue said Mr. Obama should apologize for “an attempt to deflect guilt from Muslim madmen.” He said the president’s comparisons of modern-day terrorism to the Crusades and the Inquisition were “insulting” to Christians.
“Obama’s ignorance is astounding, and his comparison is pernicious,” Mr. Donohue said. “The Crusades were a defensive Christian reaction against Muslim madmen of the Middle Ages.”

77 Cents?
In his most recent State of the Union Address, the President repeated the Democrat rallying cry that women today still earn 77 cents for every dollar a man earns.
Is he correct?
According to an article at politifact.com, Obama "takes a solid statistic and describes it incorrectly."
Gary Burtless, an economist with the Brookings Institution says, "If more men tend to be employed in occupations that pay higher wages both to men and women, then men may enjoy an overall earnings advantage even if all women in each occupation receive exactly the same hourly pay as the men who are employed in the occupation."
According to the article linked to above,
Indeed, if you look at men and women working in the same professions, the pay gap is much smaller (though for most professions, it doesn’t disappear entirely).
For computer programmers, for instance, women earn 95 cents for every dollar a man earns. For cashiers it’s 92 cents. For cooks and customer service representatives, it’s 95 cents. Other occupations have more unequal ratios. Women who are personal financial advisers, for instance, earn just 58 cents of what men in that job earn.
But, even if we were to take Obama's 77 to 100 ratio at face value, wasn't the first act he signed as president, The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 supposed to have remedied that?
It's just further prove that anyone looking to Big Nanny Government to improve his or her life is looking in the wrong direction.

A Dunce Cap? Really?
The photo below is a screenshot from "The Obama 2012 campaign's official home on Tumblr".
Really Classy, right?
It's not even quality photoshopping either.
I can't recall any other "official" representative of a Presidential campaign ever putting their opponent in a dunce cap. Is this what you call taking the high road?
I hope you Obama supporters are proud.

First lady: Skip the Pizza Dinners.........
and donate.

I know your life is full — with work, or school, or family — and yet you still find the time to help out when you can.
You may have a tight budget, but you give what you can afford.
A woman recently told the campaign her family skipped a pizza dinner at their favorite place so that they could make a difference in this election.
That is the commitment that drives this campaign.
If you can support Barack with a donation today, please know it makes a huge difference. If we win, it will be because of what you did at moments like this:

Thanks,
Michelle

Surprise, Surprise.
In a move that really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, President Obama has has endorsed the concept of allowing same-sex couples to marry.
Evidently, the President believes that it is only the old fogies who would be against gays marrying one another;
"You know, Malia and Sasha, they have friends whose parents are same-sex couples. There have been times where Michelle and I have been sitting around the dinner table and we’re talking about their friends and their parents and Malia and Sasha, it wouldn’t dawn on them that somehow their friends’ parents would be treated differently. It doesn’t make sense to them and, frankly, that’s the kind of thing that prompts a change in perspective."
No. What it tells me is that the Obama's haven't passed down any particular moral values onto their two children.
This is the sort of issue which Obama will use -should he lose in November- to place the blame for his defeat on "homophobes" in the country, rather than properly placing the blame on his failed economic and health care policies.
I don't know if this will change anyone's vote....but it may bring out voters - both Republican and Democrats - who might not have been enthused enough to vote otherwise.

Chihuahua Chimichanga?

In President Barack Obama's memoir "Dreams From My Father",Obama writes about eating dog meat while he lived with his stepfather in Indonesia.
"With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share."
Democrats claim that referring to what Obama may have eaten as a child is a low blow. I'd hardly call the Democrats' attack on Romney and his dog story from 1983 as taking the high road.
Twichy.com has posted a list of Tweets giving recipes from Obama's dog meat cookbook;
Chihuahua Chimichanga, German Shephard's Pie, Terrieryaki, Chicken Poodle Soup, and Ramen Poodles being some of my favorites.
The Obama campaign started this dog fight. They should have kept to the really important and relevant issues.
Update:
Maybe I should have titled this post "Obama Woks his Dog".

Deck Chairs on the Titanic.

As an approach to our mountain of debt, the Buffett Rule is a farce. And yet Obama repeated the ridiculous claim again this week. “It will help us close our deficit.” Does he really think we’re that stupid?
Sorry, Charles, but Americans are that stupid.
At least, most Washington Post readers are.
In a poll in today's Post, the question is -
Do you agree with Charles Krauthammer's opinion that "as an approach to our mountain of debt, the Buffett Rule is a farce"?
Sadly, the majority of Washington Post readers voting in the poll said "no". True, the poll isn't scientific, but as of this writing, 57% believe that the so-called Buffett Rule will substantially reduce the nation's debt.
Krauthammer points out that, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation, "this new tax would yield between $4 billion and $5 billion a year. If we collect the Buffett tax for the next 250 years — a span longer than the life of this republic — it would not cover the Obama deficit for 2011 alone."
He goes on - "The Buffett Rule redistributes deck chairs on the Titanic, ostensibly to make more available for those in steerage."
No question about it. We need to replace Obama this election. If he wins reelection, we can say that we as a nation have gone past the point of no return. The entitlement mentality is destroying the country and if the people return him to office, then obviously, it's too late to bring the country back from the brink.

Regarding Remarks by the President at Easter Prayer Breakfast.

Of course, neither would a Catholic nor would a member of any traditional, Protestant denomination for that matter. According to the teachings of these groups, Christ is "the" Son of God, not "a" Son of God. There was never any question, however of Obama being a Catholic; we all know he's not. He's not even sympathetic towards Catholicism. I don't know if I'd call the current President the most anti-Catholic President this country has ever had, but he's certainly on the short list.
It's said that President Obama attended the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago for at least twenty years. I can't say I know the theology of the United Church of Christ regarding Christ being God's only Son. For all I know, that denomination may very well teach that Jesus is only one of many Sons of God. It wouldn't be relevant in Obama's case, as he's on record as saying he didn't listen to what Rev. Wright preached any way.
