The War to End All Wars.

Referring to global warming, www.konsk.co.uk has this;
"The new temperatures and atmosphere may not, for example, sustain mammalian life.
This then would be the end of the world for us and a really large number of other species."
From helium.com we have;
"Will global warming mean the end of the world? For us maybe, along with other species, but it's certain the world can get along just fine without us."
and from dir.salon.com ,we learn;
"A study by 19 researchers from seven countries published in the journal Nature predicted that rising temperatures could doom more than one-third of the planets' species to extinction by 2050."
The general consensus,then, from the doomsday predictors, is that human life .......along with a number of other species will be extinct very soon .Thanks to global warming.
The most recent scare comes from telegraph.co.uk;
" Climate change 'may put world at war' "
and
"Climate change could cause global conflicts as large as the two world wars but lasting for centuries unless the problem is controlled, a leading defense think tank has warned."
My question is, if the human race is gone by 2050, how then, can we carry on a global war for centuries?
I guess, the war will be carried on by our ethanol-powered robots.
