Speaking to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund in July, 2007 Barack Obama said,"The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That's the first thing that I'd do."
If signed into law, the FOCA would abolish all restrictions and limitations on abortion in the United States.....on both the Federal and State level. The act would invalidate all parental notification and consent laws, late term abortion bans and even the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.
Americans United for Life has an online petition to fight the FOCA.
I was number 45,704 to sign and I'm encouraging everyone to follow suit.
