Bootless
Not long after writing my my last post, I left the apartment to pick up my son for lunch. After taking him back to school, I drove back out to the property in Magatas to check on the 2nd delivery of the day.
The hollow blocks and the balance of the cement were delivered and the mason had begun work on laying the blocks for the septic tank.
If these guys were in the U.S., OSHA would probably require that they were boots while doing a job like this - more than likely, steel toe boots. As you can see in the photos, these guys are working barefooted. Think of them while you're at work.
